Glass fusing is simply the process of stacking two or more layers or “compatible” glass together to make a design. After this, you place it into the fusing kiln and wait for your piece of art to come together. Generally, glass fusing kilns heat a single layer from the top, unlike ceramic kilns, that usually heat the whole chamber. It’s totally up to the artist how the fusing kiln will be made. We want you to take control of the process of your art, that’s why our kilns will be made based only on your specifications.
